Happy Valentine's Day!

We started off the day with a sweetheart breakfast- heart shaped donuts! :)

We finished final touches on our mailboxes and then got ready to dance!!showing off our mailboxes- we can't wait until they are full of valentines!

Valentine's Day Party

Our Valentine's Celebration is almost here!

Thursday morning we will have our 1st grade Valentine's Dance. Our class will dance with the 2nd group. We will dance 9:20-9:50.

After the dance, we will head back to the class to pass out our Valentines, eat pizza, and have fun together! :) All parents are welcome to come for the dance and class party afterwards.

Don't forget to have your child bring Valentine's for each classmate if you choose to participate. Here are the names if you need them again- Remember: it is great handwriting practice to have the kids fill out their own Valentines.

Happy Groundhog Day

Despite our hopes for warmer weather, our furry friend saw his shadow- which means 6 more weeks of winter!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Wysocki, Mrs. Chin, Mrs. King, and Mrs. Wiggs for helping me out with providing food for the breakfast! We had such a great turnout and the kids were so happy to have their dads read with them! :)
